George Fernandes, Esq.

Attorney Fernandes is an asset to our firm’s litigation department and has returned to Ventura Law after litigating for a major insurance company as senior trial counsel. He focuses his practice on Civil Litigation, Complex Litigation, and Mass Torts. 

Mr. Fernandes received his undergraduate degree from Western Connecticut State University. He received his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. where he was the recipient of the Western Michigan University School’s Leadership Achievement Award. This award acknowledges students who have consistently, comprehensively, and effectively provided leadership in a variety of capacities.

While in law school, Mr. Fernandes served as the President of his class. He was a member of the National Mock Trial Team and took first place at the Thomas M Cooley First-Year Mock Trial Competition, and first place in the Second-Year Evidence Competition.

Attorney Fernandes has successfully represented thousands of injured parties throughout the United States. He is a licensed attorney in Connecticut and Florida. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court. Fernandes is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyer Association, The American Bar Association, the American Association of Justice, the Bridgeport Bar Association, the Saint Petersburg Bar Foundation, the Florida Bar Association, and the Danbury Bar Association.

Prior to law school, Fernandes was an intern at Ventura Law.
